Memory Keeper

Trust & Privacy

This page is maintained by the Memory Keeper team to answer common questions about how your memories and personal information are handled.

Access and authentication

Memory Keeper uses password-protected accounts to keep your memories private. The family archive is protected by an additional archive password that you control and share only with the people you trust.

Data collection and use

We collect the content you choose to save — photos, stories, voice recordings, and comments — along with the account information needed to sign you in. We do not sell your personal information or use your memories for advertising.

Storage and security

Your memories are stored on secure, managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. The platform provides security controls like access policies, authentication, and audit logging. The safety of your account also depends on keeping your password and archive password private.

Retention and deletion

Your memories stay in your account until you delete them. You can remove your own submissions from the family archive at any time. If you close your account, contact us and we will help remove your data.

Privacy questions and contact

If you have a question about your data, want to request a copy, or need help deleting your account, please reach out to the Memory Keeper team. We will respond as quickly as we can.
